In this silent film, Andy is smitten with the beautiful Prudence. Andy is a bumbling fool but his heart longs to be with Prudence. Andy finally musters the courage to ask Prudence on a date. She accepts and the dinner-date ensues complete with every comedic mishap imaginable. Despite the disastrous date, Prudence falls for Andy.
